BONFIRE PARTY

Hi Plot Holders,
                         Jade Edwards and Paul Bancroft are now working closely with the committee as organisers of our Bonfire party scheduled to take place on Friday 1st November.

 1. The timetable is GATES OPEN 6.00PM  GATES LOCKED 7.00PM  BONFIRE 7.00PM  FIREWORKS 7.30PM.

 2. There will be a burger van on site with vegetarian and vegan options , chips , candy floss and toffee apples.

 3. We still need 2 more volunteers to act as fire/crowd stewards. The officials will all wear hi-vis jackets so please do not wear hi-vis yourselves as this will confuse things. The officials are; First Aid Marshall - Jade Edwards, First Aid Steward - Gareth Edwards, Fire/Crowd Marshall - Neal Johnson, Fire/Crowd Steward - Martin Jordan, Fire/Crowd Steward - Susan Griffiths-Parker, Fire/Crowd Steward - Mary Bancroft, Bonfire Marshall - Steve Smith, Firework Marshall - Paul Bancroft, Firework Steward - Geoff Whiteman.

  4. We still need wood for the bonfire so please bring your wood to the manure bay at the top of the site.

  5. We would request that if you bring your own fireworks you do not light them yourselves but give them to Paul Bancroft before 6.30pm as Paul is the only person permitted to light fireworks. If you bring sparklers this is done at your own risk.

  6. Please remember it will be very dark at the allotments on the night. The allotments have many trip hazards and uneven surfaces so it is advised you bring a torch to avoid any accidents.

  7. In the event of an emergency a horn will sound and the firework display will stop.
